What do we offer at Welton Counselling Practice?

Individual counselling sessions to help with:

  •  Relationship issues / abuse
  •  Low confidence and self-esteem
  •  Stress and anxiety
  •  Depression
  •  Grief and loss
  •  Issues in the workplace
  •  Bullying
  •  Assertiveness
  •  Self-harming and suicidal thoughts
  •  Support for young people

Most of these are common mental health issues and we can learn to deal with them. We can learn to manage our stress and anxiety levels with specific coping strategies. In counselling sessions, we can learn how to lift depression by identifying what is causing it.  We can hopefully then start to see a way forward.

Last year it was reported that the levels of self-harming and suicide attempts in Lincoln and Lincolnshire are rising. It has recently become the Government‘s priority to tackle it and bring these levels down. Talking therapy is a key part of this strategy.
